Christmas Ordering Deadline 2012
This is just a quick note to let you know about our upcoming ordering deadlines to get prints and products in time for Christmas.
Christmas Ordering Deadline
I'm starting to get asked about when orders need to be placed to ensure that they arrive in time for Christmas. Although the normal turnaround time for orders is 7-10 days (or longer for custom designed pieces), rush orders can often be done in as few as 4 days (additional charges may apply). Having said that, Christmas is always busier for the suppliers that I use and also for the shipping companies. Please try to allow at least 2 weeks for standard orders to be sure they arrive in time for Christmas. If you could get your orders in by Friday, December 11th that would be ideal. After that date please call and I'll do the best that I can to get your order done in time! It may be possible to get orders completed in time for Christmas as late as December 21st; however, special shipping arrangements (and increased cost) may be required. Note that Gift Certificates are also available at any time. These make great last-minute gifts for those hard-to-buy-for people!
Santa Baby – Christmas Greeting Cards
It's just about time to start thinking about your Christmas greeting card order for this year! While I still have many of the designs that were available last year (in both flat photo cards and traditional press printed flat or folded greeting cards), I also have a number of new designs and an all new boutique line of Die-Cut cards. Boutique cards are press printed on traditional greeting card stock. They are also die-cut to create basic shapes, curved shapes, scalloped edges, geometric and ornate designs. Die-cut Cards may be provided with sticker or magnet backings for fun gifts and year round display for your friends and family. These are a premium press-printed product that you are not likely to see from any of your friends! They are available in several shapes (Round, Square, Rectangular, Ornate, Scalloped, and more), and sizes (5x5, 5x7). Also new this year are additional sizes for the flat photo cards. Last year I only offered 5x7 cards. This year I have added 4x6, 4x8, and 5x5 cards to the line-up. Every holiday card order will be custom tailored using your own images, names, greetings, etc. Mailing envelopes are included with every order. Pricing for the various shapes and sizes can be seen by visiting the Sample Portrait Gallery in the client area of the website. Dog Day Print Orders
One of the favorite parts of my job is seeing how excited people get when they recieve their print orders! It was a really great feeling to get most of the Dog Day print orders prepared and ready to go, and I'm excited to see and hear the reactions as people see the prints of their furry friends! Most of the orders are now available for pickup at Pawsitively Natural Dog Daycare: 1313 - 16 Ave SW Calgary, AB T3C 0Z7 (403) 984-9247 Open Weekdays 7am-7pm; Weekends 8am-6pm Please bring cash or a cheque payable to "Sean Phillips DBA Riverwood Photography" if you still need to pay for any reprints or enlargements. Note that I have carefully inspected every order at least twice, and I believe that everything is correct. Having said that, this was a large volume of orders to get out all at the same time and sometimes mistakes happen. Ordering Deadline for Christmas
Many people have been asking about ordering deadlines before Christmas... Here's the short story: Dec 8 - standard print sizes up to 11x14 (including photo greeting cards) Nov 26 - larger prints, canvases, and most press printed products (including folded greeting cards) It may be possible to get orders completed in time for Christmas after these dates; however, special shipping arrangements (and increased cost) may be required. Note that Gift Certificates are also available at any time. These make great last minute gifts for those hard-to-buy-for people! *************** The longer story is that I need 1 week for most orders, and 2 weeks for most larger items. Some really large products and specialty items may take longer. In particular albums and photobooks that require significant time on my part to design could take a month or more. The last date that will be able to deliver orders is December 15th. I will be available and willing to work with you past that date; however, I may have to get my print lab to ship your products directly to you. I normally prefer to inspect everything before it goes out to you. But if it's really important that you get your products before Christmas, and if you're willing to take a risk, then I'm willing to consider this as an alternative... *************** I hope this helps?
