Free Desktop Wallpaper for October 2015

This months calendar image comes from a recent hike to Larch Valley in Banff National Park to see the Larch trees turn yellow before their needles fall off. Although a conifer, the larch is a deciduous tree and loses its needles in the fall and larch valley is an amazing place to see a valley full of the trees all changing color at the same time.

This months calendar image comes from a recent hike near the Mesa Butte Recreation Area in south Kananaskis. Free Desktop Wallpaper for August 2015

This months calendar image comes from a recent drive out onto the prairies to the east of Calgary to photograph the sunrise and to search for birds, animals, and scenic landscapes. This hayfield is just south and east of Calgary (near Indus, Alberta) and the huge storm clouds in the background had already passed by to the south of Calgary.

Free Desktop Wallpaper for July 2015

This months calendar image comes from a recent trip to Cypress Hills Provincial Park. We were rewarded with incredible sunsets right in our campsite every night. This image of the sun setting behind the trees and a picnic table in the campground is one of my favorite from the trip.

Free Desktop Wallpaper for June 2015

This poor little White-tailed Jackrabbit was desperately trying not to be noticed and it laid perfectly still in the grass. I almost stepped on it before I noticed that it was there and it didn't even move a hair.
