Event Photography – David Parker Appreciation Night
I had the good fortune to be asked to provide both candid and posed photography for a special event celebrating the long career of Calgary Herald business columnist David Parker at the Fairmont Palliser‎.
The event was as much of a roast of David as it was a toast and the special guests and all the other participants were in a celebratory mood all night! One of the key activities at the event was a life sized cutout of David that everyone was asked to pose with. All of the resulting images were provided to David and his family so that they could have a nice keepsake from the event.
There were also many speeches and plenty of opportunities to create candid images of the industry leaders that were in attendance to congratulate David on such a long and influential career.
