Posters and Magazine Covers for Teams and Clubs I have a few bookings coming up over the next couple of months for Picture Day packages for Calgary Sports Teams and Clubs, (including house league soccer pictures for Willowridge-Carburn Soccer Club and dance pictures for Kate's Dance Academy in Calgary) and I wanted to make sure that I had a good inventory of templates for special products for these groups. I acquired some new posters, magazine covers, and autographable memory mates. These types of products are very popular and I'm excited to have some new ones to offer! These products are completely customizable to include your organization's colors, names, logos, etc., or they can be ordered using generic text and images. Picture Day for Teams and Clubs

I know it seems like summer and summer sports are still a long way off, but it's never too early to start planning your sports activities. Registration has already come and gone for many Calgary summer sports leagues, and the rest of them can't be too far off. So with that in mind I wanted to provide some information about the Picture Day packages that I can offer for Sports Teams and Clubs. Altadore Gymnastics Club Silent Auction

Donation to the Altadore Gymnastics Club Silent Auction Here is a great opportunity to get a Portrait Session while also supporting a great cause! I have the pleasure of being able to donate a Free 1 Hour Lifestyle Portrait Session (including a Framed 8x10 print) to be sold at a silent auction this coming Saturday (February 5th, 2011) at Schanks South Athletic Club in Calgary. This is a $200 value! How high will you go to get it?? The auction is in support of the Altadore Gymnastic Club. Altadore is a completely non-profit, parent run organization that "provides comprehensive recreational & competitive gymnastics for men & women athletes of all ages". They have a really great program and they provide first class training to all of their competitive athletes and other participants. My own children have had many great hours of fun at the club for recreational Gymnastics Classes and also for Birthday Parties, and I am proud to be able to support their fundraising initiative!

Images in Use: Mako Water Polo Club Poster

A number of sports images that I recently created for the Calgary Mako Water Polo Club have been used for a poster that the club will be using to advertise for prospective new players. It's always fun and exciting to see how people use photography in different ways... This poster should be posted in public areas, pools, and recreation facilities in South East Calgary. Sports Action with the Mako Water Polo Club

I had the honor of being asked to create images for the Calgary Mako Water Polo Club for use on their website. I will be donating any images that they wish to use for the site, and I have also made the images available to the players and parents to purchase. Prints and Digital Downloads are available for direct purchase at http://events.RiverwoodPhotography.com. I've been out to three of the club's practices so far. I was at the pool at the Calgary Jewish Community Center on October 16th and 28th, and also at the Talisman Center on October 25th. I would be happy to go out again if any of the players or parents are interested in getting some additional images. Thanks to all the players for working so hard and for helping me to make some great pictures of them. These kids honestly put their hearts and souls into their practices and they swim a lot at each practice. I can only image the effort they must put in during their games and tournaments... I love doing sports photography and covering these practices really made me want to do more of it!
