Andrew has always had a very expressive face. Fortunately he is a very happy boy most of the time and so we see lots of joyful expressions. But when he’s sad or not feeling well the expressions are equally powerful. He was trying so hard to be happy when I made this image of him but he just couldn’t contain the sadness and his emotions poured out through his face. He’s always ready for me to take a picture though, and I’m thankful for that.

oh so sad. I almost feel badly loving it. :O)
I know! That seems to be the universal reaction. Even Andrew himself loves the picture, but it made him kind of sad to see it too!
