My daughter Melanie received an Easy Bake Oven as a gift several years ago, but up until now she’s really been too young to use it. But when we’re in the middle of a major snow day and looking for something to do we tend to look for things that haven’t been used for a while (or ever in this case). So the Easy Bake Oven came out today!
Melanie was able to read all the instructions and do almost all of the work herself. She was able to make a really nice batch of little Sugar Cookies. They’re actually even pretty tasty!
It’s amazing how well the Easy Bake works and we can definitely see the potential for Melanie to use it more. There are lots of homemade Easy Bake Oven recipes available to make things from scratch so you don’t even have to use the expensive pre-made packages of goodies. We will definitely be trying some fun things to make sometime soon…
