Dog Day is Tomorrow!
This is it! The big day is finally upon us! I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time. I’ve got everything setup and ready to go, and I’ll be ready to start at 10:00 AM tomorrow.
Here are a few things you might want to know about the dog day photography sessions:
- All images will be Black and White (this is to focus the attention on your dog, especially the eyes, facial features and unique personality).
- All images will be captured on a high-key white background (for the same reasons as above).
- All images will be of your pet (or pets) alone. This is Dog Day, not Dog & Owner Day (so please don’t ask).
- Please bring chew toys, squeaker toys or any other “vice” you use to bribe your pet to smile. Want to dress up your dog? Go for it.
- If the parking area is wet or snow covered, please carry your dog inside.
- A $20 donation to Oops-a-Dazy is required at the time of session. You will receive a tax receipt from Oops-a-Dazy.
- All donations will go to Oops-a-Dazy Rescue & Sanctuary Society.
I will try to create a selection of images of each pet (sitting, standing, lying, head only, full body, etc.); however, time is limited and it will really depend on what each pet is willing to do.
Pawsitively Portraits: Dog Day is a Calgary Pet Photography event. There are still a few spots left…
Online Registration is available on our scheduling page.
