Have you ever wondered what it’s like to walk behind the scenes with the photographers at a large corporate event? We wanted to share with you what it was like to show up with hundreds of pounds of gear and to do all the work required to setup, operate, and tear down 2 side by side photobooths at a recent Calgary Stampede event at Eight Avenue Place in downtown Calgary.

This video condenses almost 4 hours into 1 minute 47 seconds! During that time we had 6 staff members (plus the support of half a dozen more people from the event staff and the building’s engineering group) involved with creating 2 photobooth experiences to offer to the 1500+ people that work in the building every day. We printed and packaged over 400 pictures and had a blast interacting with all the participants and the other vendors at the event.

This was our first attempt to create something like this and we learned a lot! We will definitely do it again for future events and we’re going to make them even better! For now I hope this gives you a little bit of appreciation for what it takes to pull off an event like this!
