Product Showcase – Framed Prints

Framed Prints I have previously mentioned some of the framing options that I have available through an arrangement with Time Frames Custom Picture Framing. These frames are still available and I highly recommend them to all my portrait clients. Please ask if you would like to see samples of the mouldings or the mats. Or better yet call Karen and make an appointment. She can help you choose a custom design that will go perfect with your print! For those of you that have asked about additional ready-to-order choices I have recently added another line of really great frames. These come fully assembled with acrylic (aka plexiglass) and hanging hardware, are available in a variety of sizes and colors, and include your choice of mat color. Sizes and Options You can choose from 2” Black, Cherry, Bronze and Iron mouldings, 1-1/4” White and Onyx mouldings, and 2-3/4” Toffee Crunch or Rum Raisin mouldings. All frames are available in 11x14, 10x20 (Panoramic), 12x18, 16x16, 16x20, and 20x24 sizes. There are seven mat color options, including Double White, Black, Blue, Brown, Cream, Dark Green, and Light Green. All mats are acid free and archival. Mats are available with a variety of opening sizes for each frame size. Multi-opening mats are also available upon request. Canvas Gallery Wrap Mock-Ups

Canvas Print Mockup I have many clients that are interested in Canvas prints but who hesitate because they aren't sure what they final image will look like. I now have a tool that allows me to prepare a mock-up of a canvas print using actual images from your session. So if you're curious about what a Gallery Wrapped Canvas Print of one of your images might look like, please feel free to ask and I will put together a mock-up for you. It's a great way to get a good feel for what the canvas will look like after being installed on your wall! This particular image is of Amy, who was a participant in the recent Calendar sessions that I did for my friend Lor-Ann at Pawsitive Dawgs Training. If you have a friend or family member that might need a little bit of coaching about how to work with their dog I can highly recommend Lori. She is great with the dogs, and teaches their people really well too!

Images in Use: Framed Fine Art Prints

Framed Fine Art Print I'm always proud and excited to see my work on display. These images are from my Fine Art Print Collection and they are two of my personal favorites. These images were both printed at 16x20 and mounted on foamcore. They were matted with a two-inch black mat and then framed in a very simple contemporary black frame. I personally prefer simple displays for my images, and I love these exactly as they are, but larger mats also work very well for wall portraits. A good framer can help recommend mat and frame options that would work best for a particular image. I do have a couple of custom frame options available through my partnership with Time Frames Custom Picture Framing, or you could contact Karen directly if you want to see some other choices.

New Client Order Entry System

This is a first-look announcement that I have recently installed a brand new order entry system in the client area! The new system is a full-featured shopping cart that allows for direct order entry by you the client. This is a quantum leap forward vs. my old system! You will have full access to order packages, prints, and other products on the site, and pay for them immediately. You will be able to select the images you want in each package and in each size. You will be able to see exactly what your order is going to cost and how many print credits you have available to use. This is going to make my life (and yours) so much easier following a photography session, and I am very excited about this change! For now I have only been able to include a limited range of products, but eventually this will expand to include the majority of stock products that I offer, including photo books and albums. Custom products will always be available by contacting me directly. The old client area has already been replaced with the new system and all previous client galleries have been deactivated. For various reasons I will be transferring a limited number of the old galleries over to the new system, but I will not be automatically activating every gallery. If you are looking for images from one of your past sessions please let me know and I would be happy to transfer your gallery as well.
