Free Desktop Wallpaper for May 2011

This months background wallpaper image is a close-up of the flower from an Easter Lily that I bought for my wife. She's had a crazy few days of work and I thought she needed something to cheer her up! It just so happens that I love Lilies too and I love to photograph them. I set this one up in the backyard and got down nice and low so that I would have nothing behind it other than the beautiful blue sky. The weather over the Easter long weekend was fantastic and I managed to get out to enjoy quite a bit of it. I hope you will enjoy this image as much as I liked creating it! Download To install the image as your desktop background, simply click on the link below that corresponds to the file resolution you would like to use. When the larger image appears in your browser window then right-click on the picture and select “Set as Desktop Background...”. Note that for some browsers (Google Chrome for sure) you may have to choose "Save As..." to copy the image to your desktop first. You can then right-click on the file on your desktop and choose “Set as Desktop Background...”.

Product Showcase – Sports Memorabilia

Posters and Magazine Covers for Teams and Clubs I have a few bookings coming up over the next couple of months for Picture Day packages for Calgary Sports Teams and Clubs, (including house league soccer pictures for Willowridge-Carburn Soccer Club and dance pictures for Kate's Dance Academy in Calgary) and I wanted to make sure that I had a good inventory of templates for special products for these groups. Tomatoes on Earth Day

This is just a quick share for today... I seeded my tomatoes about 2 weeks ago to ensure that they will be ready for planting outside as soon as it's warm enough. I found a really great place for them near a south-facing window and to my amazement they started to germinate after only a few days! This is the fastest I've ever had tomatoes sprouting up and I'm excited about the crop of fresh fruit I'm sure to get this summer! I have such a green thumb! Ha! Anyway, they looked so great in the light of the spring sunshine streaming in through the window that I had to make a few pictures, and since it's Earth day today I thought I would share them here too!
